I know you're giving me that look, right? It's early September why am I worrying about Christmas now? Plenty of time, right?
Wrong.
We do a homemade Christmas. This year I'm knitting all the presents. So far I have 2 made. Not bad you say. Think again. My mother's side of the family decided to be born in September, well I guess the really didn't have a choice but it's bloody inconvenient for me. There goes my September knitting time.
How many gifts do I still have to make? At the very least 9, there are a few people I could drop the handmade gift and buy one but that feels like a cop out. Plus 2 of these gift have no pattern and I get to make them up on the fly. One is a pipe coozie, for my FIL who smokes a pipe like it's a religion. The other is and illusion knot UT Volunteers scarf. I have a feeling when my mom sees that one she's going to want one of her own.
As if I'm not punishing myself enough, I'm trying to keep up with my snuggle knitting and I just joined a swap on ravelry. My life is being taken over by facebook and ravelry. Well, enough typing back to knitting.
Everything fiber in my life. And probably a few other things as well.
